I grabbed this pack when it was on sale, thinking I was getting a solid deal, but it still felt overpriced. The way it was presented made it seem like the sounds would be much more impressive, but once I actually tried them, they were just okay. Not terrible, but definitely nothing special. Kind of had that bait-and-switch feeling where you expect a lot more than what you end up getting

The product details were a bit unclear, and what I downloaded didn’t quite match what I was expecting from the description. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was a little frustrating and could definitely be explained better...

I bought a pack from blackoctopus-sound.com, and yeah, the download itself was fine enough, but after that it got kind of not fun fast.

I couldn’t really figure out where stuff was supposed to go, or how to make it show up properly in my DAW. The instructions didn’t feel super clear to me, so I was just clicking around and guessing more than I wanted.

Maybe if you already know how their setup works then it’s no big deal, but for me it was just frustrating and took too long. I liked the idea of the pack, but the install headache was not really worth it

The file folders are a mess and it’s getting really annoying. I can barely find what I need without wasting a bunch of time. If this doesn’t get cleaned up soon, I’m probably going to start looking for another option.

I tried a few vocal samples and, they came across thin and a bit noisy. A lot of the takes felt like something I probably wouldn’t end up using. Maybe it depends on what you’re making, but overall I was disappointed with the quality.

I reached out hoping there might be some kind of help or refund option, but it felt like the response was basically just pointing to policy as the excuse. I get that rules are rules, but it’s frustrating when the product doesn’t really match what you expected. Maybe it works for other people, but for me it wasn’t worth the money.

I wish there had been clearer info and a bit more reassurance before checkout. For some reason, the site just felt really messy to use. The filters kept sending me all over the place, pages were loading slowly, and checkout wasn’t very clear. I was only trying to find a pack quickly, but I ended up closing the site instead. it was frustrating.

I bought a pack it was alright, so I guess I can’t complain too much about what I got. But then the very next day it was way cheaper, which made me feel kind of ripped off. There seem to be sales popping up all the time, so it’s hard to tell what anything is actually worth. Support basically just told me to wait for deals next time, which wasn’t super helpful. Maybe the discounts are good if you catch them, but it makes buying at regular price feel questionable

I tried to figure out what I’m actually allowed to use the sounds for, but the licensing page just made things more confusing. Maybe it’s just me, but something feels off when the terms aren’t super clear, especially if I’m paying for it

I asked for a refund and it felt like I was just being passed from one person to another. The replies took longer than expected, and I kept having to explain the same issue over and over, which got really frustrating fast.
I don’t mind waiting a reasonable amount of time, but the way this was handled left a bad impression. If this is how refunds usually go, I’ll probably take my business somewhere else next time

The loops weren’t always easy to chop, and the levels felt inconsistent too. I also got stuck waiting in a queue when I needed help, which just made the whole experience more annoying. Maybe it works for other people, but for me it wasn’t something I’d use in real production, and I probably won’t buy from them again.

I had an issue with my order and tried contacting support but it took way too long to hear back. When someone finally replied it felt like they hadn’t really read what I wrote and just sent a generic response. I ended up having to follow up again and still didn’t get much help. Frustrating and I was expecting better
